UFC Champ Chris Weidman responded on Twitter this morning to Vitor Belfort's comments about a disparity in drug testing between the two of them.
Belfort thinks it's "not fair" that he's been tested randomly seven times ahead of their fight while Weidman's only been tested once. Here's what Weidman had to say in response:
I guess he forgot he failed SEVERAL drug tests and part of his punishment was increased testing 4 the rest of his career
Penick's Analysis: That's the part that was laughable about Belfort's complaints. He brought the extra testing on himself by failing more than one drug test in his career, so of course he's going to be tested more than others. Sure the Champions need to be tested as well, but Belfort's going to be tested more than others because of his history, and that's just a reality.
