"I worked my whole life for that day, the day of the title fight. I feel very blessed. For the first time, I'm fighting with no pressure. I'm just happy to be there, to be in this position, and for sure, I'm so confident for this fight... I came from the bottom. I know how hard it is. I didn't have a rich mom or rich father to support me. I support them, and always I carried extra pressure. But for this time, I feel like I finally got my chance. I have a chance to change my life, and I will... He's a good fighter, but I just think he's not unbeatable. We are on the top of the division, and whoever makes a mistake that night is going to pay for it."
-Rafael dos Anjos talks to MMAJunkie.com about why he feels his time is now to capture the UFC Lightweight Title from Anthony Pettis at UFC 185.
Penick's Analysis: No fighter is "unbeatable." That's just not a reality of the sport. There are ways to beat every fighter, and though those ways are harder to figure out for some than others, it's always a possibility. That said, the odds that dos Anjos is the man to end Pettis' reign in this division are probably low, because even though he's been quite good in his current run, the UFC Lightweight Champ is just fighting on another level. He'll have his chance to prove that line of thinking wrong next week, but it's still a less likely result for that main event.
