The latest addition to an already stacked card at UFC 187 comes in the welterweight division, as the UFC announced on Tuesday that Dong Hyun Kim will take on Josh Burkman on the undercard.
Kim was making his way up the ranks at 170 lbs. into last year, winning four straight fights in a stretch that included two exciting knockout wins in a row. Unfortunately for him, that run came to a violent end last August, where he was stopped by Tyron Woodley in just a minute.
Burkman made his return to the Octagon in January, getting beat by Hector Lombard by decision at UFC 182. However, that result is expected to be overturned to a no contest after Lombard failed his post-fight drug test.
UFC 187 hits Las Vegas on May 23, headlined by a Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Anthony "Rumble" Johnson.
