The California State Athletic Commission has released the disclosed salaries from Saturday's UFC 184 event in Los Angeles, with Jake Ellenberger topping the night's officially disclosed earnings with $136,000 for his win over Josh Koscheck. UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey's disclosed earnings for her 14 second win over Cat Zingano in the main event were $130,000. The full list of payouts is below (via MMAJunkie.com):
Penick's Analysis: When it comes to top names like Rousey, the disclosed earnings are not an accurate representation of what she makes each fight. While the particulars of her contract aren't public knowledge, she's almost assuredly gotten more from the win over Zingano than $130K, even before pay-per-view is taken into account. Why her contract is structured the way it is would be anyone's guess, but Ellenberger ultimately will not make more off that card than she will.
