Ronda Rousey's 14-second win over Cat Zingano on Saturday night was a fascinatingly quick finish, but she won't be hopping right into camp to do it again just yet.
At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White revealed that Rousey has a deal with them to film a movie next.
"We had a deal that she was going to go do a movie after this fight," White said. "So when she's done with her movie, we will talk [about her next fight]."
Asked for details, Rousey couldn't confirm anything about her next role.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to say about it yet," she said. "Yes, I'm going to make a movie. But I'm not going to say anything about it."
Penick's Analysis: Let the speculation begin. As Fox Sports' Damon Martin pointed out on Twitter last night, there's been a tease from Robert Downey, Jr., about an announcement from Marvel this week, and "Captain America: Civil War" is set to begin filming this month... If it's not that, we'll probably get more details shortly, because if it's set to begin filming with Rousey as part of the cast, something should be out soon.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
