Ronda Rousey's last appearance in the Octagon lasted just 16 seconds, good for the second fastest in UFC Title fight history. On Saturday night at UFC 184, she managed to best that mark.
Rousey submitted Cat Zingano in just 14 seconds in Saturday's main event, catching her in a sick straight armlock after a furious start to the fight.
The two women stared each other down intensely during introductions, and Zingano rushed ahead immediately as the fight started. She tried to get in a quick knee, but Rousey used her momentum against her, throwing her to the ground.
Rousey got under Zingano's right arm in the ensuing scramble, and quickly isolated it in an almost inverted omoplata for the straight armlock, and Zingano was forced to tap.
The 14-second submission tied for the fastest submission win in UFC history, and is now officially the fastest win in a title fight ever in the organization as well.
