A light heavyweight fight between TUF 19 winner Corey Anderson and Gian Villante, originally scheduled for UFC 181 last month, is being rescheduled for UFC on Fox 15 this April.
The UFC announced the matchup on Tuesday, which had been set for last month's card in Las Vegas before injury took Villante from the card. Anderson remained, defeating newcomer Justin Jones on short notice to remain unbeaten in his MMA career.
Villante has gone 2-2 in his four UFC appearances, with one of those losses coming in odd fashion by technical majority decision after an eye poke rendered him unable to continue 30 seconds into the final round against Ovince St. Preux. He most recently picked up a win over Sean O'Connell last June, taking a split decision to bounce back from a loss to Fabio Maldonado.
The UFC on Fox 15 card hits Newark, New Jersey on April 18, headlined by the middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida.
