"I knew I had a job to do. My goal is to win the title one day, so I knew I had to get through Gus. I had to make it ugly for him so people wouldn't doubt me. Now, I'm going against the champ and they're going to doubt me, so I have to prove them wrong, too... The same way I took Gus out, I'll knock [Jones] out. I'm going to do my best to take his head off... Jon, keep your hands up, because if you don't, it's lights out."

-During the UFC on Fox 14 post-fight show on Fox Sports 2, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson gave some thoughts about his impending title fight with Jon Jones.

Penick's Analysis: Jones' KO power is as great as any fighter Jones has faced since Vitor Belfort, and if he allows himself to get hit as much as he was early against Daniel Cormier, he could lose that title. That said, Jones and his team are incredible in their ability to gameplan, so Johnson's going to need to have more than winging strikes to take out the Champ. That said, what he did today against Alexander Gustafsson was special, and a huge statement as to the level he's at right now, and Jones absolutely has to take him seriously as a threat to that belt later this year.
