"The pessimist side is I was on the shelf for a long time, and I thought, 'Aw, Sean Shelby doesn't like me, he hates me, and he doesn't' want me to fight.' F***, the optimist side, he could have cut me f***ing a long time ago. He could have cut me... If anything Sean Shelby's my best friend. He f***ing loves me because I should have been cut a long time ago... Whether you lose by an inch or a mile, you still lose, so I had to make a change. I had to change things up. I've been enjoying training [with Team Alpha Male], and I've been helping some of the best guys in the world with their fights."
-UFC on Fox 14's Andy Ogle talks to MMAJunkie.com about getting another shot in the UFC despite losing four of his five fights in the Octagon.
Penick's Analysis: Ogle has endeared himself to some fans, and obviously to UFC brass, at least enough to get another shot here after three straight losses. Only a handful of fighters wind up getting that type of treatment, and though a win over a newcomer in Makwan Amirkhani is no given - and won't be much of a win on his record anyway - it will give him new life in his UFC career.
