The Rashad Evans vs. Glover Teixeira fight is indeed happening on February 22, as the UFC themselves confirmed the matchup on Friday night.
There had been some hold up from Teixeira's side, as his manager said he hadn't yet been medically cleared for that date, but that must have happened with the UFC making the previously reported matchup official.
This matchup will headline UFC Fight Night 61 in a five round fight, airing live on Fox Sports 1 from Porto Alegre, Brazil. Teixeira hopes to halt a two-fight losing skid, while Evans will try to pick up a win in his first fight in 15 months.
