The class-action lawsuit being brought against the UFC has a lot of supporters in the fight community, with plenty of fighters who aren't yet named in the suit waiting and willing to join. While there are likely a significant number of them laying low on the UFC roster, don't expect too many to be outspoken about it.
However, you can sure expect some pro-UFC talk from the UFC-affiliated UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1, and it was Michael Bisping delivering what is quite possibly the initial reaction from UFC brass on Wednesday's episode.
Said Bisping:
"Let me break it down: you got three disgruntled ex-fighters and their careers didn't pan out the way they wanted it to be, so guess what? They're suing the UFC."
Penick's Analysis: Of course Bisping would have a take like this, because he's among the segment of fighters who have been very well taken care of in the UFC. That's not to say there's no merit to his statements whatsoever, because there is some level of being disgruntled for each of the fighters involved. That also doesn't invalidate their desire for change, nor does it mean the UFC's innocent in this case. But this response from Bisping isn't the least bit surprising to hear.
