Yancy Medeiros and Heather Jo Clark are facing the longest potential suspensions out of Friday's Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale event.
The Nevada Athletic Commission emailed the medical suspensions for the event to MMATorch on Monday, and Medeiros and Clark could be out up to six months. Medeiros has a potentially broken toe which will need to be cleared, while Clark suffered an orbital fracture in victory that also needs to be cleared before she can return. Both are potentially out until June 12.
Also, though no extended term was given, Daron Cruickshank must have clearance from an opthalmologist prior to returning after two eye pokes from K.J. Noons necessitated surgery.
The full list of suspensions from the event is below:
Indefinite Suspension Until Cleared
Daron Cruickshank (minimum suspension until Feb. 11 with no contact prior to Jan. 27)
Six Month Suspensions
- Yancy Medeiros (if left third toe X-ray comes back positive)
- Heather Jo Clark (left orbital fracture - minimum suspension until Feb. 11 with no contact prior to Jan. 27)
Two Month Suspensions
- Randa Markos (right and left eyelid lacerations - no contact until Jan. 17)
- Emily Kagan (right eyebrow lacerations - no contact until Jan. 3)
One Month Suspensions
- Rose Namajunas (no contact before Dec. 28)
- Lisa Ellis (no contact before Dec. 28)
- Seo Hee Ham (no contact before Dec. 28)
- Tecia Torres (no contact before Jan. 3)
- Alex Chambers (no contact before Dec. 28)
