The UFC on Fox 14 card in Sweden this January has added another light heavyweight fight, as the UFC announced overnight that Phil Davis will take on Ryan Bader on the card.
In his last fight, Davis bounced back from an April loss to Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, grinding out Glover Teixeira in a surprisingly decisive decision victory. That moved him to 9-2 with one no contest in his UFC run overall, and he's now won four of his last five fights.
As for Bader, who was knocked out by Teixeira in September of 2013, he's bounced back with three consecutive wins for a 4-1 stretch of his own in the UFC. The winner of The Ultimate Fighter's eighth season most recently defeated Ovince St. Preux in a dominant, one-sided decision in a five round fight in August.
The matchup joins the January 24 card in Stockholm, which will take place in a 30,000+ seat venue, headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony "Rumble" Johnson.
