"Fighting in Brazil for the first time is amazing. I'm well trained, doing an excellent camp. Every fight is important. Just to have the opportunity to go in there and show my work is amazing. I'm really happy with the opportunity to fight here... I think [T.J. Dillashaw] would crap his pants [coming down to fight in Brazil]. Fighting in the United States is easy. I want to see him fighting me in Brazil. It's completely different. Dillashaw is talking too much crap. If we fight again, you can be sure it will be completely different. When we fight again, he will see the real champion. I don't like to make jokes, talk trash. I like to show my work inside the cage, show the best Renan Barao possible. [Dillashaw] can enjoy that belt for now, because it's coming back to Brazil soon... I don't think [Dillashaw] gets past [Cruz]. I believe Dominick wins. He has more weapons, and I think he wins."

-Former Champ Renan Barao talks to Guilherme Cruz at MMAFighting.com about his fight in Brazil next month, why he doesn't think T.J. Dillashaw would fight him down there, and why he doesn't think Dillashaw gets past Dominick Cruz in his next fight.

Penick's Analysis: Barao and Dillashaw are likely to fight again, whether in Brazil or not, and whether there's a title on the line or not. I think Dillashaw absolutely can beat Dominick Cruz. It's the "will he" of the equation that is still in question, and from there it will either be Barao earning his way back to the rematch with Dillashaw or something else getting put together. Now, I can also see a scenario in which Cruz wins, and the UFC books the Dillashaw-Barao rematch in a non-title fight, possibly as a Fox Sports 1 headliner to still give it five rounds. Either way, I think they're fighting again, I think Barao's probably undercutting Dillashaw's abilities, and the bad blood between them and their camps is surely going to continue well into 2015.
