After giving Dennis Siver a competitive fight on short notice in October, Charles Rosa will be competing on the card Siver headlines in January.
The Massachusetts native was added to the UFC Fight Night 59 card in Boston on Wednesday, with the UFC announcing that he'll take on Sean Soriano on the card.
Rosa's loss to Siver in Sweden at UFC Fight Night 53 nevertheless left a solid impression from the 28-year-old, and though it was the first mark on a previously perfect record, he'll now get a fight back home.
Soriano will try to make it a bitter homecoming as he seeks his first UFC win as well. Much like Rosa, Soriano entered the UFC on short notice with a perfect record, and he as well lost on foreign soil, his to Tatsuya Kawajiri in January. A follow up decision loss to Chas Skelly in September has him in need of a turnaround on this card.
The UFC Fight Night 59 event takes place on January 18 from Boston, and airs live on Fox Sports 1. Siver's fight with Conor McGregor headlines the night's fight card.
