In January of 2010, Nik Lentz and Thiago Tavares fought to a majority draw in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 20.
Five years later and ten pounds lighter, the two will meet in a featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night 60 in Broomfield, Colo.
The UFC announced the matchup on Tuesday, which will come to the Fox Sports 1 event on Feb. 14.
Following their matchup in 2010, Lentz won four straight in the UFC's lightweight division, but dropped to featherweight after a three-fight winless stretch. Since the drop to 145 lbs., Lentz has gone 4-1, with his sole loss coming by decision to top contender Chad Mendes.
Tavares, meanwhile, made his featherweight debut in August, submitting Robbie Peralta for his fourth win in his last five fights. He's been decidedly less active than Lentz in the last five years, fighting just seven times overall.
UFC Fight Night 60 will be headlined by a welterweight matchup between Matt Brown and Tarec Saffiedine.
