"I'm definitely a little disappointed and this will take a little bit from the fight, because Cain has such a big following there and support. It's disappointing Cain won't be there, but it's still a historic, great event... I definitely feel I'll have a small advantage over Mark Hunt. You definitely feel the altitude when you're training in Mexico it's definitely impactful when training there. It takes the body some getting used to."
-Fabricio Werdum talks to FoxSports.com and tries to stay positive about Cain Velasquez's removal from UFC 180 next month.
Penick's Analysis: All he can do is try to find a positive talking point. It's certainly still historic in the sense that it's the first ever UFC event in the country of Mexico, but I don't know how the crowd's going to respond for this main event. As Werdum's fairly fluent in Spanish himself - the reason he was the perfect opposing coach for Velasquez - they could perhaps get behind him over Hunt, but it's certainly going to be less of a reaction than Velasquez may have gotten on the card.
