Next week's UFC Fight Night 56 event in Brazil has a new main event, as Jimi Manuwa suffered a broken foot to take him out of his fight with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
UFC President Dana White revealed the injury removal on Wednesday night, announcing that Ovince St. Preux will step up to fight Shogun in the night's headliner.
St. Preux was already scheduled for the event, as he was going to face Francimar Barroso on the undercard. That bout was an injury replacement in itself, as Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante had initially been pulled from the event due to injury.
The 31-year-old now gets a chance to bounce back from his loss to Ryan Bader against a former Champion in Rua, who himself needs to bounce back after a knockout loss to Dan Henderson in March.
The card next week will air live on Fox Sports 1, the second of two cards taking place on November 8.
