Scott Jorgensen's loss to Wilson Reis came swiftly and in fairly one-sided fashion, as a nasty kick to the body set up a sequence that wound up with him on the ground, and ultimately led to an arm triangle choke.
As evidence of how brutal that kick was, Jorgensen posted the following to Twitter after the fight:
Penick's Analysis: It's been a sad decline over the last few years for Jorgensen, as he was a legitimate top five guy in the bantamweight division as late as 2010. Unfortunately, he's now just 4-6 in ten UFC appearances, and just 1-3 since dropping to flyweight. He may yet get another fight in the organization, but it's also entirely possible this one leads to his release.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
