UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman played lifesaver this morning, responding quickly to a potentially dire situation with his elderly neighbor.
Weidman's wife relayed the story with a post on Instagram:
"Shout out to this man @chrisweidmanufc who just saved our 92 year old neighbors life. She fell onto a glass table and had pieces stuck in her head. She was in her driveway bleeding out in the rain trying to call her daughter on the phone. Chris ran over and brought her inside, cleaned her up and called 911. #myhero"
Penick's Analysis: Crazy story, but excellent quick thinking to help that woman. Hopefully after first responders got there she'll wind up in alright shape, and she's got to be very grateful Weidman was there to help. Either way, Weidman did what he could do until passing her off to the professionals, and that's just great to see.
