Saturday's UFC Fight Night 54 event has gotten another shakeup this week, as Rob Font has dropped out of a fight with Mitch Gagnon due to injury.
Gagnon will remain on the card, and will prep on short notice this week for his third scheduled opponent for the event, as he'll now welcome UFC newcomer Roman Salazar.
Salazar enters the UFC with a 9-2 career record, which includes a four fight winning streak over the last two years. He's stopped six of his opponents, three by submission, and three by TKO.
He'll face a major road block in his UFC debut in Gagnon, the 29-year-old Canadian who has won three straight in the Octagon. Gagnon is 9-1 over his last ten fights dating back to 2009, with the sole loss coming to top end bantamweight Bryan Caraway.
Saturday's UFC Fight Night 54 event airs live on Fox Sports 1, headlined by the welterweight bout between Rory MacDonald and Tarec Saffiedine.
