"I hope he comes over the UFC and does very well. Unfortunately, I don't think he can come over and do very well against me. But I think he's going to make some waves, man. Eddie is a good guy and I think he's going to do pretty good in the UFC. Unfortunately he has to make his debut against me and it's going to be a great fight. I can't wait. I guarantee this is going to be a fight. I like fighting people like that who don't back down, stay in the pocket and throw down. That's what everyone wants to see and I'm always going to show up to give that to them. Don't blink, because it's going to be fast-paced and action packed. The only thing I wish was different about this fight is that it would be five rounds, but other than that, I'm looking forward to going out there and having some fun."
-Donald Cerrone talks to Duane Finley for UFC.com about Eddie Alvarez and their fight at UFC 178.
Penick's Analysis: Everyone would love for this fight to have five rounds, but even in three it's going to be an excellent matchup between two incredibly entertaining fighters. Cerrone's got to try to delay Alvarez's path to a title fight, while the incoming Bellator Champ will try to vault right to the top over him. Even if he says otherwise, he understands what Alvarez is bringing in to the cage, and it's going to be a major matchup on pay-per-view tomorrow.
