Two top ranked flyweights are headed to the UFC on Fox 13 event in Phoenix in December, as one-time title challenger John Moraga will take on Jussier Formiga.
The UFC announced that bout Monday night, as well as a bout between newcomer Anthony Birchak and Ian Entwistle.
Moraga picked up a surprising guillotine choke over Justin Scoggins in his most recent outing, surprising the rising prospect in the second round. He now meets Formiga, who picked up an good win in his last fight against Zach Makovsky.
Birchak gets rescheduled after he was pulled from his initially scheduled UFC debut due to no fault of his own. Due to the loss of Renan Barao on that card, Birchak's original opponent Joe Soto was moved into the fight with T.J. Dillashaw. Now he gets a fight with Entwistle, who was stopped by Daniel Hooker in his UFC debut in June.
