Sara McMann called out Miesha Tate on Saturday following Tate's win over Rin Nakai at UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan.
McMann made it simple and respectful, simply tagging the UFC and Tate on Twitter and saying it's a fight she wants, and for Tate, that sounds just fine.
Both fighters fell to UFC Women's Champ Ronda Rousey within two months of one another in December and February, respectively, and both have since picked up wins. McMann defeated Lauren Murphy this summer, while Tate has picked up a win over another fellow UFC Title challenger in Liz Carmouche before beating Nakai on Saturday.
Penick's Analysis: This is the fight they should make next, both fighters are up for it, it's a no-brainer. Sean Shelby's job's been made easy on this one, so I'd expect to see it come together pretty quickly here for an event by January or even earlier if there's a spot for it.
