Despite knockout losses in three of his last four fights, Alistair Overeem will get another fight in the UFC.
That's according to UFC President Dana White, who said on Wednesday's UFC Tonight program on Fox Sports 1 that Overeem's status still as a top ten heavyweight will give him another shot in the Octagon.
"He is still one of the top 10 ranked heavyweights in the world," White said. "We'll give him another fight."
Overeem's most recent loss came last week at UFC Fight Night 50, where he was knocked out by Ben Rothwell.
Penick's Analysis: It's a little surprising that they're still going to give him another fight with what they're paying him. That said, it's also a testament to the state of the heavyweight division that Overeem remains a "top 10" guy with knockout losses in three of four fights.
