Matt Wiman hasn't fought since suffering a particularly brutal KO loss to T.J. Grant in January of 2013, but his return is now set for the November.
The UFC announced on Wednesday that Wiman will return against Isaac Vallie-Flagg on the UFC Fight Night event in Austin, Texas, on Nov. 22.
Prior to the loss to Grant, Wiman had won five of six fights, including a submission over Paul Sass in the fight just before Grant. The now eight-year UFC vet has gone 9-5 through 14 appearances inside the Octagon.
Vallie-Flagg needs a rebound win after suffering consecutive losses in the UFC this year. After a win over Yves Edwards in his UFC debut, Vallie-Flagg has suffered decision losses to Elias Silverio and Takanori Gomi.
The UFC Fight Night event on Nov. 22 will air live on Fox Sports 1, though it doesn't yet have a headlining fight.
