After scoring a highly impressive submission win over Tom Niinimaki last Saturday night, Chas Skelly will fight just 13 days later at UFC Fight Night 50.
Skelly steps in for an injured Andre Fili, taking on Sean Soriano next week at Foxwoods in Conn.
The 29-year-old Skelly bounced back from his first career loss with the win over Niinimaki, scoring his seventh career submission win in the process.
Now he steps in against Soriano, the 24-year-old who suffered his first career loss in his UFC debut as well. That came back in January in Singapore, where he was submitted by Tatsuya Kawajiri on short notice.
UFC Fight Night 50 will be headlined by the middleweight bout between Jacare Souza and Gegard Mousasi, airing live on Fox Sports 1.
