"The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung has been forced out of his Oct. 4 return against Akira Corassani after tweaking his surgically repaired shoulder in training.

According to a report from MMA-in-Asia.com, Jung suffered a shoulder strain on the same arm injured against UFC Featherweight Champ Jose Aldo last summer. The injury isn't severe, as no structural damage was done, but will force him to rehab for four weeks before further evaluation.

This is just the latest in a string of injury issues which have allowed Jung to fight just twice from 2012-present.

No replacement has been announced for Corassani as of yet for the Oct. 4 UFC Fight Night 53 card in Stockholm, Sweden. The event will air on UFC Fight Pass, and will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.

Penick's Analysis: This is highly disappointing news. The Zombie-Corassani fight could have been a lot of fun, but it's more the fact that Zombie is injured yet again that is just no good. It's hard to imagine after the consistent injuries he's endured that he's going to ever be the fighter who demolished Dustin Poirier again, and at this point it's just really unfortunate that these issues have kept him out of what could have been some really good years in his career.
