Rafael dos Anjos picked up his biggest career win on Saturday night, knocking out Benson Henderson in the first round at UFC Fight Night 49.
Following the win, dos Anjos' first priority isn't moving into the title picture, as he instead hopes to take some time off. When he's ready to come back, he's open to whomever the UFC would like him to face.
"I don't know about my future right now," dos Anjos said after the event (via MMAJunkie.com). "Whatever the UFC says, I'm going to do. Right now, the only thing I'm thinking is I need to take some time to give attention to my family right now and get some rest, and whatever comes after is in the UFC's hands."
Penick's Analysis: Dos Anjos is going to get a top contender fight at some point after this win, though he may need two more wins given the proximity to his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov. If Eddie Alvarez beats Donald Cerrone, Alvarez could be an easy pick for the next contender, although with the delay to Pettis-Melendez, they could book dos Anjos against the winner or another top contender in December to determine who fights for the title first in 2015.
