This will be the second time a Zuffa event will emanate from Arizona, as they hit Glendale with the final WEC card in 2010, headlined by the first Benson Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis bout. But the UFC hasn't gotten there yet.
As to who will headline, that's not set just yet, but some campaigning for that slot has already begun.
Penick's Analysis: Frankie Edgar vs. Cub Swanson would be a fantastic fight, and if given five rounds would certainly make for a compelling headliner. That said, I'm not sure if that's the route the UFC and Fox would want to go for a network card during the NFL season, as they've had some bigger cards for those dates with title fights and more. Still, Edgar-Swanson with the winner either getting their rematch with Jose Aldo or facing Chad Mendes if Mendes captures the belt is the right fight to make regardless of when it happens.
