The top three fights on Saturday's UFC on Fox 12 event drew some of the highest interest due to who was in them, and they also delivered beyond anything else on the card. Because of that, four of those six fighters walked away with the night's bonus money.
Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown each earned $50,000 as the "Fight of the Night" on the card, a more than deserving award for their five round battle in the night's main event. Lawler picked up the win, and in the process earned a rematch with Johny Hendricks, but Brown kept his standing in the division, taking home some extra money as well.
The two "Performance of the Night" bonuses went to Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Dennis Bermudez for their finishes over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Clay Guida, respectively. Johnson took out Nogueira with a brutal barrage against the cage, scoring a TKO in just 44 seconds. Bermudez, meanwhile, picked Guida apart for a round and a half before locking on a rear naked choke in the second round and forcing the tap.
