The UFC continues to add fights to their return trip to Sweden in October at UFC Fight Night 53, with the latest announced fight coming in the featherweight division as Ernest Chavez takes on Zubaira Tukhugov.
Chavez is dropping to the featherweight division after suffering his first career loss in his last outing. After a decision win over Yosdenis Cedeno in his UFC debut, Chavez was submitted by Elias Silverio at "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3" Finale in May.
He was supposed to fight Mirsad Bektic next month in Tulsa, but an injury pushed him back to October.
He'll meet Tukhugov, who made his own successful UFC debut earlier this year. The 23-year-old Russian moved his current winning streak to seven fights in February, defeating Douglas Silva de Andrade at UFC Fight Night 36 in Brazil.
The UFC Fight Night 53 event doesn't yet have a headliner, but it will air live in the U.S. on UFC Fight Pass on Oct. 4 as the first of two events that day.
