Amir Sadollah will make his return to the Octagon this October, just over two years after his last fight.
The UFC announced this week that Sadollah will take on Nico Musoke at UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockholm, Sweden, in what will be the Ultimate Fighter season seven winner's 11th career UFC bout.
Sadollah has gone 6-4 in his career, with all of his professional fights happening inside the UFC's Octagon. He went 2-2 over his most recent four fight stretch in 2011 and 2012, and then got sidelined by a number of things after a loss to Dan Hardy in September of 2012. Interestingly enough, Hardy hasn't fought since that bout himself, switching to commentary due to a heart condition that has not allowed him to be licensed.
The 33-year-old Sadollah will now enter enemy territory, as Musoke hails from the host city for this event. The 28-year-old won his first two appearances in the UFC in October of last year and February of this year, before dropping a decision to Kelvin Gastelum in his last bout in June.
This is the first confirmed fight for the UFC Fight Night 53 event in Stockholm, which will air on UFC Fight Pass in the U.S. and is part one of a double header of events for the UFC that day.
