When the UFC announced they were shifting the UFC 178 event on Sept. 27 from Toronto to Las Vegas, it wasn't exactly clear where they'd run the event.
Their normal haunts, the MGM Grand Garden Arena and Mandalay Bay Events Center, were both booked on that date, but rock band Kings of Leon is now no longer running at the MGM Grand, leaving it open to the UFC that night.
The UFC announced the location for the event on Tuesday, and revealed that tickets will go on sale on August 1. The card will be headlined by a UFC Light Heavyweight Championship between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson, and has a stellar undercard shaping up as well.
