The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board handed down medical suspensions to several fighters on Wednesday's UFC Fight Night 45 event, with six receiving indefinite terms pending medical clearance.
The NJSACB emailed the list of suspensions to MMATorch following the event.
Headliner Jim Miller is among the six receiving indefinite terms, as he requires clearance for both a right forearm injury and an abdominal ultrasound to determine the damage from body shots taken against Donald Cerrone.
The full list of suspensions is below:
- Jim Miller: Suspended indefinitely pending clearance following x-ray of right forearm and abdominal ultrasound; minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
- Evan Dunham: Minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
- Joe Proctor: Minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact due to a left temporal hematoma
- Justin Salas: Minimum suspension 30 days with no contact due to facial laceration
- Alptekin Ozkillic: Suspended indefinitely pending clearance following CT scan; minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
- Alex White: Suspended indefinitely pending clearance following CT scan and neurological exam; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact due to right eye laceration
- Jessamyn Duke: Suspended indefinitely pending clearance following x-rays and orthopedic clearance of left hand; minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
- Hugo Viana: Minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
- Jerrod Sanders: Suspended indefinitely pending clearance following x-rays of left ankle
- Tina Lahdemaki: suspended indefinitely pending clearance following opthalmological exam of right eye; minimum suspension of 60 days with no contact for precautionary reasons
