Scott Jorgensen's getting one more chance in the UFC's flyweight division, as the organization announced on Wednesday night that he'll take on Danny Martinez at the UFC Fight Night event in Albuquerque on June 7.
Jorgensen, a longtime staple of the bantamweight division who fought for that title in 2010, has lost five of his last six fights, including both of his appearances at 125 lbs. However, in his most recent outing, it was a headbutt from Jussier Formiga that sent him to the ground and gave Formiga the opportunity to secure a submission.
He's going to try to get it done against Martinez, who fights for the second time in the UFC after suffering a decision loss to Chris Cariaso in his debut. That snapped a four-fight winning streak, but came after a lengthy layoff as well.
UFC Fight Night in Albuquerque on June 7 is headlined by the five-round lightweight bout between Benson Henderson and Rustam Khabilov.
