"I think Jones will get him. I think this fight kind of resembles the Rampage and Jones fight. You know that Teixeira is a big puncher with a lot of experience but he doesn't have one crucial element and this is good movement. He doesn't have the good movement that he would need to bring problems to Jones. I think Jones will win by being quick, being able to get out and get in, strike and get out of the way.

Teixeira doesn't look like his balance is too good sometimes, like when he fought Bader he was drunk-driving like a motherf***er in that fight. He got caught, he was dizzy. I think that Jones is really starting to believe more... well not believe, because he always believed, but that last fight with Gustafsson shook him, so now he is approaching it from different angles. He will have a lot more focus.

Muhammad Lawal trains at ATT and he is a really good friend of mine. He has been saying that Teixeira is looking killer right now. I have heard that from a few different people now. But if I had $100 and was forced to make a bet, I would say Jones all day. I think he is going to finish him."

PENICK'S ANALYSIS: Evans and Jones have their history, and if he gets his chance Evans surely would like to fight his former friend again, but I don't think any of that clouds his assessment here. Jones enters favored for a reason; though Gustafsson pushed him to the edge, he survived, and still won. That was far from his best night for any number of reasons, and it won't be followed up by a lesser performance. Teixeira's power makes him a danger to anyone he faces, even Jones, but the Champion has a ton of tools at his disposal, along with unpredictability and a very good ability to adjust on the fly. A Teixeira win would just be surprising at this point.
