Fresh off a successful debut in the UFC's lightweight division, Erik Koch is hopping right back in the cage this May on the increasingly packed UFC Fight Night card in Cincinnati.
The UFC announced on Thursday that Koch will take on Daron Cruickshank on the May 10 event, pitting two hard hitting and exciting fighters against one another.
Koch made quick work of Rafaello Oliveira last weekend at UFC 170 in Las Vegas, knocking him out in the first round. That bounced him back from consecutive losses at featherweight in 2013, which in part prompted the move back up to the lightweight division.
Cruickshank has had some up and down performances in the UFC, but he'll enter this event off an excellent highlight reel win over Mike Rio last month, where he scored a spinning wheel kick at UFC on Fox 10.
The May 10 card does not yet have a main event, but it's filling out nicely thus far. Check out the announced fights for the event as of today below:
