One of the more interesting fights for the UFC Fight Night 37 card in London next month is now off, as Ian McCall has suffered an injury that takes him out of a fight with Brad Pickett.
UFC President Dana White announced the injury removal on Thursday during a media luncheon in Las Vegas (via Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole).
Dana just said Ian McCall out of fight with Brad Pickett.
That fight was supposed to be Pickett's debut at flyweight, and it's likely the UFC will find a replacement to keep him on that card. The March 8 event is headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa.
Penick's Analysis: That's an unfortunate loss to this card. That would have been a great flyweight matchup, and a serious test for Pickett in his 125 lb. debut. He's likely to get a new opponent for the card, because they'll want to keep him on this event if at all possible.
