Lucas Martins is in need of a new opponent for UFC 170 next month, as his originally scheduled opponent, Bryan Caraway, dropped out of the event with an injury on Tuesday.
The UFC announced Caraway's injury on Twitter, and said a new opponent would be announced soon.
Caraway's return gets delayed even further, as he hasn't been in the cage since last April. The 29-year-old Caraway beat Johnny Bedford at UFC 159, but spent the summer helping his girlfriend Miesha Tate coach on The Ultimate Fighter.
Martins hopes to continue his run in the UFC after consecutive wins. He'll be fighting for just the second time at bantamweight after making a successful debut in September against Junior Hernandez.
UFC 170 takes place from Las Vegas, Nevada, next month, headlined by the Women's Bantamweight Championship between Ronda Rousey and Sara McMann.
