Pending clearance for his peripheral vision this month, Michael Bisping's return fight will be coming this April.
According to a report from Damon Martin at FoxSports.com, Bisping and Tim Kennedy have agreed to fight in the main event of the UFC's "Ultimate Fighter: Nations" Finale card on April 16 in Canada.
The two have been jawing on Twitter and in interviews for the past two and a half months, following Kennedy's knockout of Rafael Natal at UFC Fight For The Troops 3. Now the UFC has given them an outlet to settle things, and have given them five rounds with which to work as well.
Bisping hasn't fought since defeating Alan Belcher last April, as he was sidelined by surgery to repair a detached retina on two occasions. While he's gotten clearance from his doctors to return, the UFC wanted to have him pass one more vision test before getting him back in the cage, which is expected to take place shortly.
Kennedy has now won both of his appearances inside of the Octagon, and with the impressive KO over Natal was able to get himself into this matchup.
The "TUF: Nations" Finale will feature the finals in the Team Canada vs. Team Australia season, which kicked off on Fox Sports 1 this past Wednesday, as well as the coaches bout between Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke.
