German welterweight Pascal Krauss has been spending a lot of time at Roufusport in Milwaukee, Wis. as of late, and he'll get to make his next appearance in the Octagon close to where he's been calling home recently. According to German MMA site GroundAndPound.de, Krauss will take on Korean welterweight Hyun Gyu Lim at UFC 164 in Milwaukee.
Krauss has fought just three times in the Octagon over three years, with injuries sidelining him for the entirety of 2011. He's 2-1 in those three fights, with decision wins over Mark Scanlon and Mike Stumpf sandwiching a loss to John Hathaway. The Stumpf fight came this January at UFC on Fox 6 in Chicago, and Krauss improved his career record to 11-1 with the win.
Lim made his UFC debut in March at UFC on Fuel 8 in Japan, knocking out Marcelo Guimaraes with a knee and follow up punches in the second round. The win was his sixth straight, and brought his career record to 11-3-1. He hasn't lost since a decision to Dmitry Samoilov in 2009 at an M-1 Challenge event in the U.S.
UFC 164 takes place on August 31, headlined by a UFC Lightweight Championship fight between Benson Henderson and T.J. Grant.
