Four fighters earned an extra $50,000 for their efforts on Saturday night at UFC on FX 8, taking home "Fight Night" bonuses from the UFC out of the event.
The "Fight of the Night" was locked up in the first fight of the card, as Lucas Martins and Jeremy Larsen locked up that award for their back and forth bout. Larsen was up two rounds to none during a crazy brawl between the two, and then Martins sent the home country crowd into a frenzy with a knockout just 13 seconds into the final frame.
With the "Submission of the Night," Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza secured the bonus with a submission over Chris Camozzi in the night's co-main event. The former Strikeforce Champion had an excellent debut, stopping the late replacement in highly impressive fashion.
Finally, the "Knockout of the Night" went to Vitor Belfort out of the main event, who took out Luke Rockhold in the night's main event with a brutal spinning heel kick to the face and strikes on the ground.
