In the wake of a horrific toe injury to Anthony Perosh, Joey Beltran has a new opponent for UFC on FX 6 this December in Australia.
The UFC announced on Tuesday that Beltran will now meet Igor Pokrajac on the Dec. 15 event, which heads to Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Pokrajac hopes to bounce back from a submission loss to Vinny Magalhaes at UFC 152, a loss which snapped a three-fight winning streak. Beltran returned to the UFC in July, fighting for the first time in the UFC's light heavyweight division after losses in four of five fights at heavyweight. Unfortunately for him, he dropped another fight when he lost to James Te Huna.
UFC on FX 6 is headlined by a lightweight bout between Ultimate Fighter: Team UK vs. Team Australia coaches Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos.
