Penick's Analysis: Those are the words of a one dimensional fighter who doesn't want to have to improve the other aspects of his game. And it's a completely delusional sentiment. The submission game is and grappling game is every bit a part of MMA as the striking game, and an inability to deal with that will put a ceiling on a fighter's advancement in the UFC. This is a bit of a ridiculous quote, and certainly isn't a good sign for Johnson ever making any progress on that front.
