Saturday's UFC on Fuel 2 event in Stockholm, Sweden, left the organization with plenty of options for their typical fight night bonuses, and the four fighters they chose for those honors were all well-deserving of their $50,000 award.
The event's "Fight of the Night" went to Brad Pickett and Damacio Page, who opened up the Fuel TV broadcast with an excellent two-round scrap. Pickett ultimately won the fight with a rear naked choke submission, but the back and forth bout was immensely exciting and very deserving of its FotN honors.
"Knockout of the Night" was a no-brainer, as newcomer Siyar Bahadurzada face-planted Paulo Thiago with a vicious counter right that put him out cold just 42 seconds into the fight.
"Submission of the Night" had the most competition on Saturday's card, with six different fights ending by some form of submission. The award was clear, though, with the final submission of the card. In the second bout of the Fuel TV broadcast, John Maguire channeled UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes and pulled off a step-over armbar submission as DaMarques Johnson was attempting a kimura.
