By: Alex Williams, MMATorch Contributor In an interview with Tatame, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua indicates that he might rematch Mark Coleman at a December UFC event.
An underwhelming fight. Sure, Coleman won the first time, but it was via a fluke injury stoppage after Rua broke his arm trying to defend a takedown. I don't think Coleman can count on that happening again.
Though it'd probably be no more competitive, I'd rather see Coleman vs Wanderlei Silva. At the end of the first Coleman/Rua bout, a Pier 6 brawl broke out between Rua's Chute Box and Coleman's Hammer House teammates. In the melee, Phil Baroni took Silva down and Coleman planted his foot on Silva's throat. Later backstage, Silva swore "war" against the Hammer House fighters.
