"I have to tell you something; a lot of people underestimate Dan Hardy, and it's a big mistake. It's a big mistake that I'm not going to do. Dan Hardy is the most dangerous guy that I've fought so far... If you look at all my big fights, all the fights that I had a lot of pressure (with) B.J. Penn when I did the 'Primetime' (show), my revenge against Serra, Matt Hughes when I had the rematch. (With) all those great fights, I performed better when I'm under pressure... When I'm under pressure, I'm more nervous. I'm more awake, and my reaction time is better, so that's a good thing for me... [Hardy] is a thinking fighter. He's very technical in the way that he fights. He's a great counter-puncher."

-UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre discusses how he fights better under pressure and how people should not underestimate his opponent Dan Hardy at UFC 111 during the UFC 111 conference call this week. (Quotes from MMAJunkie.com)

Penick's Analysis: Hardy has said in multiple interviews that all the pressure is on GSP because he needs to win this fight. That may be just what GSP wants in this fight based on these comments. He's right as well, as outside of the Serra fight he has performed better and better with the spotlight on and with onus on him to defend his belt. He's a smart fighter and a great Champion, and as I've said before this is just going to be an extremely difficult fight for Dan Hardy to come into. If he pulls off the upset I think it might be more shocking than when Serra did so three years ago.
