UFC QUOTABLES: Frankie Edgar sees Gray Maynard rematch as "the perfect chance to right that wrong"

"It's great, and I guess you could say it means more [beating B.J. Penn a second time]. Winning the title's great, defending it's better. I'm sure every single one's going to get better and better. That's the plan, I hope I can keep this thing for a while... [Fighting Gray Maynard next is] the perfect story. He's undefeated, he's coming up the ranks, I'm the champ, and he beat me already. It's the perfect chance to right that wrong... If it's 2010, maybe at the very end, possibly early 2011. We'll see what Dana and Lorenzo would like, and I'm sure we'll find out soon."
-UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar talks to MMAWeekly.com after successfully defending his title against B.J. Penn and also looks ahead to his next defense against the only man to beat him, Gray Maynard.
Penick's Analysis: It is a great opportunity for Edgar to defend that title against the one man to have gotten the best of him. It's not necessarily a fight that is going to inspire a ton of excitement in fans, and they likely need to pair it with a really strong co-headliner or under a more marketable title fight, but it will be a good rematch that will tell us a lot about Edgar.
