A middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Dan Miller is in the works for UFC 114 according to a report from MMAJunkie.com. Both fighters were on the losing end of bouts at events in February.

Bisping will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 110 in Australia. It was a fight he was winning at times, though sequences at the end of the second and third round saw Silva nearly finish him, ultimately giving Bisping his second loss in three fights.

Miller has now lost two consecutive bouts after dropping a unanimous decision to Demian Maia at UFC 109. That bout followed his decision loss to Chael Sonnen in May of last year. Both of those fighters are now in line for shots at the Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, with Maia getting the first bout in April in Abu Dhabi.

UFC 114 comes live from Las Vegas, NV, on May 29th, and is expected to be headlined by the long awaited bout between Rashad Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.

Penick's Analysis: This is a very good middleweight matchup. Bisping will have the advantage on the feet, and the key for this fight will be if MIller can find success on the ground. That's a tough task against Bisping, who has shown great defense on his back in past fights. Miller was outstruck by a non-striker in Maia in his last fight out, so he'll really need to improve on the feet to hang with Bisping long enough to find a way to get it to the ground. This should be highly competitive bout either way, and this 114 card is shaping up very nicely.
